... except there is apparently no announcement of this release.
I'm sure the folks at VSee are very busy - but is there any chance someone could post an announcement of what changes were made in version 612? I'm seeing what I think is higher processor utilization on version 612, but maybe there is a good reason for this ...

Dear VSee Users,
612 was released to all users today. Major changes include:
- completely new application sharing engine - faster performance at lower bandwidth
- new user interface for application sharing feedback
- numerous GUI bug fixes - such as snapping window, etc.
- new LDAP/AD module for enterprise deployments
sorry we have been quiet recently - our entire company got pulled into a number of mega projects - like the UN World Refugee Day with Angelina Jolie, Hillary Clinton, etc. the development for these projects have all been roled into 612 - I think you will like it :)
our next major release is targeted for 815 (Aug 15). It will support a new video UI - toward our goal of simple and elegant. it will also have a completely new address book for faster calling. We expect to start beta testing of 815 in mid-july. thanks and with warmest regards,
Milton

Milton.... we never heard from you about what we should do when the trial expires.
We would like to help using VSee and improving it, but we feel you at VSee let us off.
After the 30 days we can no longer use it and then.........??

Perhaps vsee might consider having a testers thread that can only be accessed by testers. Topics as the above could be viewed and answered away from vsee's commercial visiters

Hello Kens,
Yes getting rid of echo is our top priority. I'm sorry it is taking us so long to solve the echo problem. Trust me, I can't wait until it is fixed also.
Thank you,
Colleen

I am hopeful that the new AEC code will be selectable. When I'm using a headset or a speakerphone device with built-in AEC, I'd like to be sure that VSee's AEC is "off"; of course, better still if it can accurately auto-detect and make the correct setting on its own.
will 815 (available, presumably, on Aug. 15) have the new skin?
I will wait for the official release of features / bugfixes, etc. for 815; but I am curious if anything on the back end has been improved (lip-sync, smooth-motion, edge-sharpness, spatial-detail, lack of image ghosting, etc.)

.. a new version is available, with a new "look", but it's not 815, it's 809 ?? ;-)
The UI is new, but I cannot see any big difference for the rest.
I like the new UI though.
2 things are still "bad":
1) the contact window still does not stay resized after I change it, and keeps coming up again in "default size" when reopened.
2) not possible to open a chat with the users in contacts without beeing in a call with someone.
I hope Colleen can tell us more about the "815" build release..
