VSee version 9.0.0.416 is released

VSee version 9.0.0.416 is now available to most users via auto-update.

General changes since 9.0.0.313 include:

* The 'Share'->'Browser' menu item has been grayed out because a browser can be shared from 'Share'->'Application' and because 'Share'->'Browser' did not work for all browsers. Pending user feedback, this menu item may disappear in the next releases.
* Various window snapping and positioning fixes.
* Possible fixes for some GUI-related crashes.
* Chat now supports copy and paste by right clicking.
* 'Share desktop' will now send contents of VSee video windows less frequently, for network efficiency.
* Put VSee welcome image into local video window when first restored from minimized state (instead of displaying the old video frame before minimization).
* Don't fade out menu button if not in a call.
* Address book remembers show and hide offline statuses from previous run of VSee.
* Respect "Start VSee when the computer starts" user setting again. 9.0.0.313 turned on this option for all users to fix a problem in 9.0.0.126.
* Continuous scrolling in private chat.

Questions, comments, and bug reports are welcome.

Thanks !

I found a minor problem. After VSee is updated and restarted, the video window is magnified vertically by about 10%, giving me a "long face" :)
It could be fixed by selecting menu-window-size-100%.

Re: VSee version 9.0.0.416 is released

One tiny thing is that I miss being able to see Contacts without having to open the VSee window - a minor thing but sometimes when I am in another app which uses the webcam - I don't want to pop up VSee (potential conflicts in the camera device)

Also - is it true that VSee can connect to a H.323 Gatekeeper/MCU? Is it a native (multi-head) or do you have your own VSee <----> H.323 Gateway?

Re: VSee version 9.0.0.416 is released

Hello,

If you left click on the VSee task tray icon you will see your list of contacts that are online. We are working on making VSee compatible with other systems, but it is very much in Alpha right now and won't be ready for some time.

Thank you,
